At 6-foot, Donnie Fielding continues to prove why he fits the mold of every coach’s dream prospect in the Class of 2031. Currently running with Arizona Phenoms, Fielding brings a complete game built on toughness, pace, instincts, and relentless production on both ends of the floor.
What immediately jumps out is his ability to slash and finish at a high level. The paint is his territory — once he gets downhill, he attacks with purpose and creativity, using slick footwork, body control, and touch around the rim to finish through contact or around defenders with either hand. His offensive rebounding is equally punishing: if he secures a second-chance board, it almost feels automatic that two points are coming right after.
Defensively, Fielding plays with the kind of motor that changes games. He secures defensive rebounds with authority, protects possessions, and has the instincts to erase transition opportunities. If opponents think they have a clear lane on the break, there’s a strong chance Fielding tracks it down and meets them at the rim. His timing, recovery speed, and defensive awareness make him a true impact defender.

Offensively, he can also break pressure by himself, pushing tempo coast-to-coast in a split second. His speed and quickness allow him to turn defense into offense instantly, and when he gets into rhythm, he becomes difficult to contain. The three-point shot continues to be another weapon in his arsenal, hovering around 40% from deep, with the ability to get streaky and heat up quickly.
The comparison that comes to mind is Tracy McGrady — not because of style alone, but because of how naturally Fielding blends length, fluid finishing, scoring instincts, and smooth versatility. There’s a high-level finishing package there, mixed with instincts that separate him from most players his age.

Fielding’s résumé already carries weight. He earned MVP honors at the Made Hoops Winter West Circuit 2 weeks ago, leading Arizona Phenoms to the title and continuing to elevate a program that keeps stacking wins and steadily building national respect.
Coming out of Peach Springs, Arizona and representing the Hualapai Tribe, Fielding also shines on the Native circuit with The Regulators, where he helped lead his team to a championship in a 42-team bracket at Native Nationals in 2024.
Bottom line: Donnie Fielding is Rezball at its finest with a high dose of Big City Skills— relentless motor, elite finishing instincts, defensive toughness, and winning attached to everything he does. A high-level competitor whose game keeps translating no matter the stage.
