The stage was set at the T3TV March Madness Top 25, and Patterson Elite made sure everyone in attendance — including Top25 Scouts — left talking about their performance.

In just their first year together, Patterson Elite continues to prove they belong among the nation’s elite programs. Finishing the tournament 3-1 and falling in heartbreaking fashion in the Gold Bracket semifinals, the squad showed grit, IQ, and high-level execution all weekend long.

Dominant Pool Play Performance

Saturday was all business.

Patterson Elite went 2-0 in pool play, averaging 50 points per game, pouring in 101 total points across two matchups. Even more impressive? Their defense.

They allowed just 50 combined points in pool play — locking teams down, controlling tempo, and setting the tone on both ends of the floor. The balance between offensive firepower and defensive discipline separated them early.

Gold Bracket Statement Win

On Sunday, the competition stiffened.

Facing the nationally ranked No. 8 team (ATS) in the first round of the Gold Bracket, Patterson Elite delivered a dominant 49-32 victory, winning by 17 points. From start to finish, they controlled the pace, dictated matchups, and showcased the athleticism and chemistry that has quickly put them on the radar.

That win punched their ticket to a highly anticipated semifinal showdown.

Semifinal Thriller vs Together on 3

In the semifinals, Patterson Elite squared off against the No. 6 team in the country, Together on 3 (TO3), in what turned into one of the most intense games of the tournament.

Patterson Elite jumped out to a 6-0 lead, setting the tone early. TO3 responded, tying the game and eventually taking a four-point lead. But Patterson Elite answered back once again, pushing their advantage to a game-high nine-point lead just before halftime.

TO3 closed the gap to one at the break.

The second half was a back-and-forth battle — momentum swings, defensive stops, big-time buckets. With 1.7 seconds remaining and the score tied 55-55, a late foul sent TO3 to the free-throw line. They converted 1-of-2, taking a 56-55 lead. Patterson Elite had just seconds to respond, but time expired in a tough 55-56 loss.

A Program on the Rise

While the semifinal loss stings, the bigger picture is clear.

The heart.

The determination.

The basketball IQ.

The athleticism.

Patterson Elite displayed all of it.

In their first year as a program, going toe-to-toe with multiple nationally ranked teams and nearly punching a ticket to the championship speaks volumes. They didn’t just compete — they proved they belong.

Top25 Scouts is taking notice, and if this weekend was any indication, Patterson Elite is only getting started.
