Josiah “Juice” Lewis (Class of 2031) | SG | Arizona Unity

Some players naturally command attention, and Josiah “Juice” Lewis is quickly becoming one of those names that continues to rise every time he steps on the floor. Built with a strong frame at roughly 5’11, the Class of 2031 shooting guard brings a physical brand of basketball that immediately puts pressure on opposing defenders.

“Juice” thrives when attacking downhill. He welcomes contact, embraces physical play, and consistently finds ways to finish at the cup even through bodies. His ability to force defenders into difficult situations makes him a frequent visitor at the free throw line — and that is exactly where you want him late in tight games, because he has proven to be reliable when the pressure rises.

What separates Lewis is his ability to take control of momentum. I’ve personally seen him put a team on his back, shift the energy of a game, and carry his squad across the finish line when everything tightened up. That kind of takeover ability is difficult to teach and often shows up in players wired differently competitively.

His game carries shades of Anthony Edwards — explosive in stretches, capable of scoring in bunches, drawing fouls, and turning physicality into production. He owns an above-average three-point shot, can punish defenders who sag off, and once he secures a rebound, he has no hesitation pushing coast-to-coast himself.

Last weekend in Memphis, Tennessee, Lewis showed exactly why his stock continues trending upward, averaging close to 24 points per game while consistently applying pressure from multiple scoring areas. His baseline package is especially advanced for his age — crafty footwork, sharp angles, and the type of body control that allows him to create clean looks where most players see traffic.

And here’s where the “double-edged sword” really shows: not only can he hurt you as a scorer, but his overall pace, strength, and ability to read defensive reactions make him dangerous throughout all phases of offensive flow.

Currently playing with Arizona Unity while also appearing with College Prep / Bella Vista Supreme AAU, Josiah “Juice” Lewis continues building a profile that deserves serious attention in western-region conversations and beyond.
