Jamal Barnes, a Class of 2034 big out of EA Pressure, made a strong impression at the SoCal Prociety Top 25 Showcase. In a one-day camp built around evaluation, he consistently stood out with his presence on both ends, impacting the game through rebounding, rim protection, and efficient interior play.

Strengths / Evaluation
A controlled and physical big, Barnes was difficult to deal with throughout. He racked up multiple blocks and rebounds, protecting the paint and finishing possessions. Offensively, he showed a strong understanding of positioning — effective in pick-and-roll situations, running the floor, and being in the right spots. With his size and frame, he’s a tough matchup, and his smooth pace paired with steady footwork kept him productive.

Projection
In a setting focused on skill and feel, Barnes showed he belongs among the top talents in the 2034 class. His two-way impact, physical tools, and ability to play within structure point to strong long-term upside and continued development ahead.

CLOSING
A name to continue tracking as West Coast talent in the 2034 class keeps emerging
