Who they are, what they did
Kingston Hill, a Top NJ Class of 2030 guard with Pro Dev Unlimited and a Jr. EYBL player for New York Lightning, made a strong statement at the Prep Hoops Liberty Games. Hill was a consistent two-way presence throughout the weekend, helping lead his team to a championship, capped off by a 35-point win in the title game
Their strengths / evaluation
Hill is a fast, two-way guard who changes the game with his speed and defensive presence. He gets downhill with ease, blowing past defenders before help can set, and once he’s at the rim, he shows advanced footwork and a variety of finishes. Explosive and bouncy, he plays above the rim and through contact, while his quickness keeps defenders on their heels. On the defensive end, he competes—staying active, applying pressure, and using his speed to disrupt opposing guards and create turnovers.
What’s next / projection
Hill continues to trend toward the top of the Class of 2030, with his ability to impact the game on both ends separating him. As he builds more on the Jr. EYBL stage and continues refining his overall game, his stock is positioned to keep rising.
